Alltel is now offering its own version of Palm's Treo Pro in the U.S.
The Treo Pro 850w has a darker, sleeker and glossier design than previous Treos and a slightly different keyboard. Features include built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, a microSD flash memory card slot, a 1500mAh Li-Ion battery and a 2MP camera.
The Alltel version of the Treo Pro is a locked CDMA handset. Sprint Wireless will soon sell a similar version, while an unlocked GSM/GPRS version is currently sold by Palm for wireless networks like T-Mobile and AT&T Mobility.
