AMEN. I consider my Omnia i910 to (still) be the best phone out there (and it's almost two years old), but it's missing one thing... a FREAKING headphone jack!

From the Irfanview File menu, choose "Select TWAIN Source," select "CanoScan LiDE," and click Select. Then from the File menu select "Aquire/Batch Scanning." You should be good to go.

How did you enable irfanview to be used when scanning with the LiDE 200? I can't seem to figure out how to use it instead of photowhatever that comes with the products installation. Please help. I loved using irfanview with my last scanner the LiDE 20, but this one doesn't seem to give me the option to use it.
Thanks,
Doc

My computer was working fine when I tried above suggested but since I get that message 1'ce a week w/no internet access I did it anyway. It asked for "sub mask something" & one popped up so clicked ok. Automatically lost internet so undid your suggestion.

Fairly superb article, genuinely enlightening stuff. Never thought I'd discover the tips I would like right here. I've been scouring everywhere in the internet for a while now and was starting to get discouraged. Luckily, I stumbled onto your website and acquired precisely what I had been searching for.

This helped, but why do I need to do all this all of a sudden when the connection was working fine (automaticly) only a few days ago?
