The
Dell Axim X50 was released as the successor to the X30
Axim Series. The
X50 was also configurable with processor speeds ranging
from 416MHz to 624MHz and offered integrated Bluetooth,
or both Bluetooth and 802.11b Wi-Fi.
All
models in the X50 Series have 64MB of RAM, but
ROM chips are available in either 64MB or 128MB
capacities.
The
X50 Axims have a QVGA transflective display, while the X50v features a high 480x640 3.7" VGA transflective
display.
Dell discontinued the X50 Series Pocket PCs when the X51 and X51v Axims were released. Dell has since pulled out of the handheld market altogether.
