How to Turn Off Tap Vibration on the Samsung Epix Smartphone

By default, the Samsung Epix responds to screen taps (or swipes) with a short vibration.  If this annoys you or if you don't want it to occur for whatever reason, you can easily turn this option off.

On the Epix, navigate to Start > Settings > Sounds & Notifications.

Within this system utility, select the Vibrations tab near the bottom of the screen:

In the Vibrations sub-menu, simply un-check the box next to Screen taps:

Tap or press OK.  The screen tap vibration notification is now off.

The silent vibration alert for incoming calls or messages will still work even with this setting toggled off.
