Following the HTC Touch (now available from Sprint and Alltel) and the Touch Dual, HTC has released another TouchFLO Windows Mobile device: The HTC Cruise.
With TouchFLO, the screen can detect the difference between the touch of a finger and the tap of a stylus; the new screen can also accept "sweeps" of the finger as different commands. This is similar to, though perhaps not as sophisticated as, the multi-touch interface found on the Apple iPhone.
Features of the HTC Cruise include Windows Mobile 6 Professional, 802.11g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, UMTS/HSDPA network compatibility, a 400MHz ARM-based processor, 256MB of flash memory, 128MB of system memory (RAM), onboard GPS, and a microSD flash memory card slot compatible with SDHC memory cards.
The HTC Cruise launched in Europe in November 2007, and while there's been no offical U.S. release, you can purhcase an unlocked Cruise for use with GSM wireless providers like AT&T and T-Mobile.
