One of the first truly impressive Windows Phones from HTC is the HTC HD2 (a.k.a. HTC Leo, a.k.a. HTC Pro.Three). Windows Phone is the new name for smartphones running Windows Mobile 6.5 and above.
The HD2's face is dominated by its huge 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, which is also multi-touch enabled; this means you can use multiple fingers to enter commands, à la iPhone. Powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, the HD2 promises to be one of the speediest smartphones on the market, irrespective of OS.
Other features include 512MB of flash ROM, 320MB of RAM, 802.11g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 5MP camera, and a microSDHC flash memory card slot.
HTC released the HD2 in Europe in October 2009, and U.S. customers got the HD2 in March 2010 from T-Mobile. You can purchase an unlocked version of the HD2 for use with AT&T or T-Mobile in the U.S.
