HTC's successor to the HTC Mogul, code-named "Raphael," is the HTC Touch Pro.
Along with its keyboard-free sibling, the HTC Touch Diamond, the Touch Pro has an impressive feature set built on the popular HTC Mogul and Kaiser models. Perhaps the most important new feature is the VGA screen, which provides a higher-resolution display than the QVGA screens in use today on Windows Mobile smartphones. Other features include the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS, TouchFLO 3D, a 528MHz Qualcomm processor, a 3MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, mobile broadband, and GPS.
The Touch Pro and Touch Diamond will introduce a new technology for a WM device: an orientation sensor. This is used to change the display orientation based on the way you're holding the device. It also includes a "new touch-sensitive control for device interaction." More on that as it becomes available.
This device is sold in the U.S. by several wireless carriers: see Sprint Touch Pro, AT&T Fuze and Verizon Touch Pro.
