The rx3000 Series iPAQ Pocket PCs were released as
self-proclaimed mobile multimedia centers in an attempt to highlight the multimedia funcationalities of Windows Mobile devices. The
most advanced version of this series,
the iPAQ rx3715, is powered by a 400MHz Samsung
ARM-based processor, has an onboard 1.3
MegaPixel digital camera,
integrated 802.11b Wi-Fi and Bluetooth,
and over 150MB of storage space available.
Multimedia
is the name of the rx3715's game. Onboard
you'll find software for viewing video
and photos, as well as software for listening to music
and applications that transform your Pocket PC
into a universal remote which controls not only
your TV, but your Windows PC as well. These
programs are tied together by iPAQ Mobile software
from Nevo.
