After months of delay, HP has officially released the iPAQ 910 Business Messenger, a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional device with a touchscreen display, a QWERTY keyboard and a range of wireless connectivity options.
Aimed squarely at business users who send and receive large numbers of emails and SMS messages, the iPAQ 910 Business Navigator is a rarity among Windows Mobile devices: a touchscreen handheld with an always-exposed keyboard. At present, the only such device sold is the Treo 750.
Primary features include a 416MHz ARM-based processor, 256MB of flash memory storage, 128MB of RAM, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, a 2.5" QVGA touchscreen display, Bluetooth 2.0, a 3MP digital camera (model 910c only), GSM/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA network compatibility and a microSD card slot compatible with microSDHC memory cards.
The iPAQ 910 can only be purchased as an unlocked handset for GSM carriers like T-Mobile or AT&T Mobility. There is no indication as of yet as to whether the device will be sold by a wireless carrier in the future. As this handset was just released, quantities are limited.
