Whether you’re an individual user with an iPhone and iPod, or a couple with two iPhones and/or iPods between you, the iP86 provides multiple-device functionality that’s long overdue. The three independent alarms are fantastic and offer a range of sleep and wake options for each of the two docks. 12/04/10

The Sena WalletSlim is different for a couple of reasons, both good, and manages to be different without sacrificing the stylishness that has made leather cases a hit with so many users. All of this adds up to a very nice choice for fans of leather and sleekness, with a bit of utility thrown in. 11/18/10

Whether using the iPad to read ebooks, browse the web, check email, or extend your PC or Mac screen, a stand is a highly useful accessory - and the HexaPose Stand for iPad is the best I've seen so far. 10/23/10

The iSkin Duo for iPad is the fourth iPad skin I've tried, but the only one I can imagine continuing to use. The Duo isn't perfect, but it gets right what so many skins get wrong; and in my mind, that makes it a thing of geek beauty. 10/15/10

If Apple were able to address the handset’s one major flaw, iPhone 4 would be the best smartphone I’ve ever used, without question. But their hubris in the face of unprecedented success threatens to taint an otherwise brilliant showing. 07/01/10

There will be many iPad cases released in the coming months, and I'm sure some of them will be great, but I can’t imagine any always-on case being much better than the Marware Eco-Flip. If you prefer a skin or portfolio style case, there are other options available, but if you want a traditional flip-top case with built-in stands, the Eco-Flip for iPad should be at the top of your list. 05/10/10

If you’re an iPad owner and a lover of crossword puzzles, Crosswords is more than an option; it’s a must. You’ll love it. And if you're a true crossword devotee, you may just come to think of your iPad as a crossword platform that’s also a computer rather than the other way around. 04/26/10

I can't tell you how much the Instapaper service and Instapaper Pro have changed the way I consume Web information. Flagging content is as easy as a click of the mouse, and there are no RSS feeds with boring articles to wade through to get to the good stuff; everything in my Instapaper queue is exactly what I want to read. 04/08/10

The Sound ID 200 is one of those products that’s so close to perfection you almost don’t want to see its flaws; it looks great, sounds great, and feels even better. It’s light, too, comes with just the right number of ear fittings, and sells for relatively little (MSRP of $99 but it can be found for much less). Sadly, however, the puny and ill-placed controls keep the Sound ID 200 from a 5-Star rating. 10/25/09

The Altec Lansing inMotion Max iMT702, [is] an iPhone speaker system designed for clear sound, portability and a relatively small footprint. Jacks of all trades tend to be disappointments upon inspection, but this system surprised me with its performance. There are design quirks, but all-in-all the inMotion Max satisfies where others don’t. 10/14/09

The Xtand has transformed my iPhone from an exclusively mobile device to one that's fully part of my office desk. Unlike docks and cradles which, although performing built-in syncing and charging, tend to make the iPhone unusable (or at least less usable), the Xtand augments the iPhone for near-perfect desk use. It looks damn good doing it, too. 7/13/09

I'd imagine having the iPhone double as a mirror would be useful for some and just plain cool for others. If you count yourself among either group, there's nothing so wrong with the MirrorFilm that would make me suggest you keep away. But you'll have to turn up the brightness to compensate for the film's darkening effect, which will reduce battery life. And the smudge factor is off the charts. 6/27/09

If your RSS needs are simple, you can probably get away with a free alternative like Free RSS Reader, but if you're like me and want the most feature-rich RSS reader for your iPhone, Newsstand is likely your best bet. While it does have limitations, most notably the iTunes link problem, it provides a clean, effective way of managing and viewing RSS feeds on the go. 1/16/09

I found the RichardSolo 1800 a handy thing to have around; there are times when it's more convenient (or even essential) to charge the iPhone when you can't plug it in to a power outlet. But at $69, the unit seems a bit overpriced, especially considering its inability to be comfortably attached while using the iPhone and its single-charge capacity. 11/29/08
