The Jornada 545 and 548 were the
first official Pocket PCs ever released and original Jornada Pocket PCs were sold by HP before the company took over Compaq. These PDAs ran the Pocket PC 2000 and no upgrade to a later edition of the OS was ever offered.
The Jornada 545 and 548 featured 12-bit displays, an onboard Type I
CompactFlash slot, and a handy scroll wheel on the
left side.
All Jornada Pocket PCs were discontinued following
the HP takeover of Compaq.
