There's a new Motorola Windows Mobile 6.1 touchscreen smartphone on its way - the Motorola SURF A3100. Similar in design to the upcoming Motorola Alexander, the SURF - previously code-named 'Atila' - lacks a hardware QWERTY keyboard.
Features of the SURF A3100 include HSDPA, a 3MP digital camera, aGPS, a microSD flash memory card slot with support for SDHC cards, Stereo Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Alexander is rumored to have an 8MP digital camera (yeah, 8 megapixels), an NVIDIA graphics processor, and onboard GPS.
At this point, we know that the SURF A3100 will be released in selected Asian markets sometime in Q1 2009. No U.S. release information has been made available at this time.
Additional information regarding the Motorola SURF A3100 will be posted here as it becomes available.
