Classic Digital Music & Video Player - 160GB 6th Generation
Apple iPod Classic
(White, Front View)
Apple's 6th Generation (6G) iPod, now called the iPod Classic, continues the evolution of the iPod line with a new, all metal exterior and increased capacities, 80GB and 160GB. The 160GB iPod Classic is the largest-capacity iPod ever sold. The Classic is now the only member of the iPod family with an internal hard drive; all other iPods, including the new iPod Touch and 3G nano use flash memory for storage.
The latest iPod, though thinner and lighter than its predecessors, still features a 2.5" display. In addition to music, users can download videos, TV shows and movies from the iTunes Store.
Another improvement over the 5G iPod is battery life; the iPod Classic offers up to 40 hours of audio playback and 7 hours of video. The iPod Classic is available in both black and white (shown left).
