Apple iPod nano Digital Music & Video Player (7th Generation)
The iPad nano is one product Apple seems to have difficulty figuring out. This attitude is illustrated, most recently, by the 7th Generation nano, which features yet another fully-new redesign -- this time with a touchscreen, an iPod touch inspired Home button, and Apple's Lightning connector.
That isn't to say the newest nano isn't a move in the right direction; its marriage of the last-gen's touchscreen and iOS-variant operating system and the longer design of the 4th and 5th gen nanos looks to be a winner. The multitouch display is 2.5-inches with a PPI of 204.
The new iPod nano also supports video (again).
Perhaps the most welcome addition, though, and the first for nano, is Bluetooth 4.0, allowing the use of wireless headphones and earbuds, speaker systems and automotive audio.
Other features include a built-in accelerometer (for screen orientation switching), a pedometer with Nike+ support, and FM radio with 15 minute pause and rewind. Includes Apple's EarPods. Available in seven colors (Slate shown).
