Released September 2009: Microsoft is rebooting its Zune line of portable media players with the new Zune HD. Gone are the larger and smaller versions of the Zune from the past couple of years: today, if you want a Zune, it'll have to be a Zune HD.
In many ways, the Zune HD is the most advanced portable media player available today. This begins with its fast Nvidia Tegra mobile processor, which provides enough power to support and output 720p HD video (requires optional Zune HD AV Dock). Other high-end features include a 3.3-inch OLED multi-touch display, FM and HD Radio, a and wireless syncing over Wi-Fi.
The new Zune includes a web browser, and Microsoft plans to roll out downloadable games and perhaps other types of applications for the Zune HD in the coming weeks and months.
The Zune HD is available in 16GB and 32GB capacities.
