Mere months after dropping "one" from its title, Palm continued its no-number game with a new handheld. The next model in what was once the Tungsten series wasn't the T6, but rather the TX.
The TX is a mid-range handheld, though it is the follow-up to the high-end Tungsten T5. Similar to its predecessor in design, the TX is powered by a slower 312MHz ARM-based processor and includes features such as 802.11b Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 320 x 480 hi-res transflective display, 128MB of onboard memory and an SDIO Secure Digital slot.
The TX runs Palm OS Garnet v5.4 and was officially announced on October 12, 2005, and is still available for purchase today.
