With years of supplying add-ons for PDAs under its belt, Pharos - a GPS industry leader - has released its first Windows Mobile handheld, the GPS 505.
The Pharos GPS 505 is a GPS device first, but the unit is powered by the Windows Mobile operating system and, though it isn't touted as such, it's a fully-functional Pocket PC with mid-range features.
The 505's GPS receiver is fully internal with no need for pesky flip out antennas. The unit ships with a 512MB SD card pre-loaded with maps of the top 50 US metropolitan areas.
