HTC Announces HTC Touch Diamond

HTC has announced the HTC Touch Diamond, which will replace the HTC Touch. The Touch Diamond has 4GB of onboard flash, a new TouchFLO 3D interface and more. We're still waiting on more information on the HTC Raphael, so stay tuned for more HTC news in the coming days.

HTC to Showcase Raphael, Diamond on May 6

HTC is gearing up to drop at least two new Windows Mobile 6 Pro handhelds next week, the HTC Diamond and the HTC Raphael. Similar in most respects, the Diamond will feature 4GB of onboard flash memory and is slated replace the HTC Touch, while the Raphael will include a slide-to-hide QWERTY keybaord and will replace the Mogul.

As expected, Microsoft Corp. today launched Windows Mobile 6.1, and updated version of the Windows Mobile 6 operating system for touchscreen and non-touchscreen devices. WM6.1 includes several changes and improvements, some aimed at business users, but most targeted squarely at consumers. In addition to announcing the new OS, Microsoft also indicated that an update to v6.1 would be made available for many of the current Windows Mobile 6 handsets in use today...

Verizon Wireless Finally Announces XV6900 "Touch"

New Report: Dell Getting Back into Windows Mobile

March 19, 2008 - New reports have surfaced regarding Dell's plans to get back in the handheld game with an upcoming smartphones and/or PDAs running Windows Mobile. A new DIGITIMES report, which cites anonymous sources from the Taiwanese tech market, indicates that Dell is working with Foxconn Electronics to develop the devices. Foxconn plays a major role in design and production for some of the biggest names in consumer electronics including Apple, Sony, Nintendo, Motorola and Hewlett-Packard, as well as Dell itself.
