You've heard of the HTC Touch Diamond and so has Samsung. The electronics company, who is by no means a newcomer to the world of Windows Mobile, has a new direct Touch Diamond competitor: the Samsung Omnia. This touch-centric device is due out later this year and features a wide range of top-tier hardware and features.
Features of the Samsung Omnia include 8GB of onboard flash memory, quad-band GSM, GPRS, EDGE, & HSDPA wireless network support, 802.11g Wi-Fi, a 5MP camera, a 3.2-inch touchscreen display and an onboard accelerometer.
The Samsung i900 Omnia runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional (touchscreen) and employs a touch-sensitive area below the screen in lieu of a traditional navigation pad.
Verizon Wireless now offers a CDMA version of the Samsung Omnia. Have information or questions regarding the Samsung Omnia? E-mail us.
