Saga SCH-i770
Verizon's replacement to the discontinued Samsung i760 is the Samsung Saga SCH-i770, or i770.
Like its predecessor, the Saga is a touchscreen Windows Mobile device; unlike the i760, however, the new Samsung ditches the slide-to-hide QWERTY keyboard in favor of a Treo-style thumb keyboard.
Running Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, the SCH-i770 includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0, EV-DO mobile broadband, a microSD memory card slot and a 2MP camera. The handset also has a GSM chip and a SIM slot for use outside the United States.
The Saga launched on November 14, 2008 and continues to be available for purchase from the Verizon Wireless web site and the retailers listed below.
