Update: The HTC Desire is no longer expected to be released by a wireless carrier in the United States. 

Features of the Desire closely mirror those of the Google Nexus One. In addition to its 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, the Desire also shares a large 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microSDHC card slot, 5MP camera, and GPS with the Nexus One. 

While not available from AT&T directly, you can purhcase this Android phone unlocked from Amazon.com.
