The first handset in the Galaxy S series to hit the United States was the Samsung Vibrant. The Vibrant is T-Mobile's Galaxy S variant of the Andrioid-powered smartphone family.
Like the AT&T's Captivate, the Samsung Vibrant is a touch-only Android phone - no hardware QWERTY keyboard. That touch interface comes via its 4" AMOLED touchscreen display with a 480x800 resolution. Other features include a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird SoC processor, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 peer-to-peer wireless, a 5MP camera good for photos and 720p HD video and 30 frames per second and a microSDHC memory card slot.
The Vibrant comes with 16GB of onboard flash storage, which you can increase via the memory card slot by up to 32GB. A 2GB microSD card comes included with the Vibrant.
