BlackBerry Curve 8300 Smartphone
To continue its push for more attractive and functional smartphones, RIM introduced the BlackBerry Curve 8300. The sleek smartphone features the classic BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard and push e-mail functionalities, along with more multimedia and connectivity options.
The BlackBerry Curve is a Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE handset with Push-to-Talk technology built in. Other features include Bluetooth 2.0, a 320x240 color display, BlackBerry Maps, a 2MP digital camera with flash, trackball scrolling, voice dialing, USB modem functionality, and a new audio technology which automatically adjusts the handset's volume.
The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8300 is now available in limited quantities from AT&T Mobility (formerly Cingular Wireless). The 8300 has been replaced by the Curve 8310, a model with onboard GPS.
