Did you think you'd ever see a touchscreen BlackBerry? Whether you did or didn't, one thing is certain: the wait for a touchscreen BlackBerry is over. RIM has released the BlackBerry Storm, the first BlackBerry device with no hardware keyboard.
The BlackBerry Storm includes a number of other hardware innovations centered around its touchscreen interface. The touchscreen features SurePress, which lets you feel the on-screen choices you make. There's also an onboard orientation sensor, as well as a light sensor which adjusts the screen's backlight.
Other features of the BlackBerry Storm include Bluetooth, EV-DO mobile broadband, onboard GPS, a microSD slot with SDHC support, a 3.2MP digital camera and 1GB of onboard flash storage.
The BlackBerry Storm is now available exclusively from Verizon Wireless in the United States.
