There have been whispers of a new addition to the Motorola Q family of Windows Mobile smartphones since late 2007. A new image (seen left) has given new credence to these rumors, and now we're getting word that Motorola may actually announce the new Q, which many are referring to as the Q10, at CTIA in early April 2008.
We have no hard data on the Q10 - we don't even know that this will be its official name. Here's what we do know: In October 2007, the BGR web site reported that the Q10 may have a touchscreen; if true, it would be the first Motorola Q device to have a touchscreen interface. Based on the image, however, the Q10 appears to be a non-touchscreen device.
The Q10 will run Windows Mobile 6, possibly 6.1. There are some rumors that the new Q will have onboard GPS and Wi-Fi, but these appear to be little more than educated guesses.
