Pantech may not be a name with which you're familiar, but the South Korean company burst onto the U.S. smartphone market in a big way with the AT&T launch of their self-branded C810 Duo.
The Pantech Duo is a Windows Mobile 6 Standard (non-touchscreen) smartphone with a dual-sliding design. Need a QWERTY keyboard? Slide the screen to the right. Need a standard dial pad? No problem, slide the screen up.
The Pantech Duo is available exclusively from AT&T Mobility. Features include 3G UMTS & HSDPA network connectivity, Bluetooth, a 1.3MP digital camera and a microSD memory card slot. The Duo does not have onboard Wi-Fi.
The Duo is now available for purchase in both gray and red. The follow-up to the Duo, the Pantech C820 Matrix Pro, will also be sold by AT&T.
