Released on the heels of the T-Mobile Dash, a second Q-killer arrived at Cingular Wireless (now AT&T Mobile): the Samsung SGH-i607 "BlackJack"
Like the Motorola Q, the Samsung i607 is powered by a 200MHz TI OMAP processor and the Windows Mobile 5 for Smartphones operating system. Other features include a 320x240 landscape color display, onboard Bluetooth 2.0 wireless and a 1.3MP digital camera. The Push E-Mail MSFP add-on is also included.
The Samsung BlackJack is UMTS/HSDPA & EDGE network compatible.
The BlackJack proved to be a popular handheld, and was replaced by the BlackJack II in 2007, which was this replaced by the Samsung Jack in May 2009.
