Currently the smallest Windows Mobile Smartphone on the market, the SMT5600 from Audiovox offers a great deal of PDA functionality in a cellular wireless device weighing only 3.6oz.
The SMT5600 is powered by a 200MHz TI OMAP processor, often found in Palm OS handhelds. Integrated Bluetooth allows for the use of compatible Bluetooth- enabled accessories like wireless headsets and keyboards. Additional storage space is offered by way of a miniSD slot.
The
onboard camera captures VGA quality still images and video.
The Windows Mobile for Smartphones 2003 OS offers Pocket versions of Outlook, Windows Media Player and MSN Messenger.
The SMT5600 was originally available only to AT&T Wireless customers. After Cingular acquired AT&T Wireless, the SMT5600 was very difficult to find, but Cingular Wireless recently re-released the phone in select markets.
