Sprint PPC-6800 PPC Phone
The successor to Sprint's PPC-6700 Pocket PC Phone, the PPC-6800 Mogul from HTC was originally slated for release in the United States in May 2007, but the handset was held up by number of delays and was offically launched a few weeks later on June 18. The Mogul is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7500 mobile processor and has approximately 155MB of usable flash memory.
The PPC-6800 Mogul runs the latest mobile OS from Microsoft, Windows Mobile 6 Professional (the new name for the Pocket PC Phone version of Windows Mobile). Aside from the T-Mobile Wing, the Mogul is the only touchscreen Windows Mobile 6 device available in the U.S.
Other features include 64MB of RAM, Bluetooth, 802.11g Wi-Fi, a microSD flash memory card slot and compatibility with Sprint's high-speed EV-DO "Mobile Broadband" wireless network. Sprint will release a software update later in the year which adds compatability with EV-DO Revision A.
