The Motorola RAZR V3 was certainly the most talked-about phone of 2005 and for good reason; the RAZR's innovative design set the current standard in ultra-sleek cool. Now, Samsung has entered the razor-thin phone market with a RAZR alternative, the new SPH-A900 or "Blade", a multimedia phone available from Sprint/Nextel Wireless as the MM-A900.
There's much to be said for the A900 on paper: the phone features onboard Bluetooth wireless, a 1.3MP swiveling digital camera with video capabilities, support for Sprint's EV-DO high speed wireless data network, multimedia functionality including MP3 and video playback, speech-to-text input for dictating SMS messages, and more, all in a 3.5-ounce black aluminum package. Reports indicate that the call quality of the A900 is equally impressive, which we can confirm from our first-hand experience.
