TiVo 802.11g Wi-Fi Adapter
If you copy video files from your TiVo to your PC with TiVo2Go for transfer to a mobile device, the TiVo Wireless G 802.11g Wi-Fi adapter is for you. If you simply use your TiVo's wireless adapter to download program updates, slower 802.11b adapters work fine, but if you transfer large video files from your TiVo, you'll appreciate the 5X faster transfer rate of 802.11g.
An added benefit to the TiVo Wireless G adapter is its ability to connect to WPA protected wireless networks. The TiVo Wireless G adapter is required for WPA compatibility, though any compatible wireless adapter is capable of connecting to WEP enabled networks. Series2 and Series3 TiVos only.
This is the unit we use with our office TiVo Series2 DVRs. The Linksys WUSB11 is a USB 802.11b Wi-Fi adapter. It gets is power from the TiVo's USB port and has an etendable antenna for best reception.

The Wi-Fi adapter(s) listed above are compatible with all Series2 TiVo DVRs except for DVRs with a 15-digit TiVo service number beginning with 110, 130, or 140. To find your TiVo Service Number you can either look on the back of your unit or find it on the on-screen menu under TiVo Central > Messages & Setup > System Information.
