HTC introduced the successor to their popular Touch Pro at WMC 2009 - the HTC Touch Pro2. This updated device features a larger screen, a tilted-screen option and a curvier design, and went on sale at T-Mobile USA on August 12, 2009.
The HTC Touch Pro2 is larger than its predecessor, mainly to accommodate its 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen display. The screen tilts up to expose a QWERTY keybaord beneath.
Features include a 528MHz Qualcomm CPU, 512MB of flash ROM, 256MB of RAM, 802.11g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3.2MP camera, a microSDHC flash memory card slot and a 1500mAh Li-Ion battery.
The Touch Pro2 is now available from T-Mobile with Windows Mobile 6.1, though a WM6.5 upgrade has been released and can be downloaded from the HTC web site.
